Dear Greens,

    Join us for a rally against war in Venezuela tomorrow, and for our
holiday party on December 17!  There will be no meeting in December,
just the holiday party.  Details on both events are below.

    Greens finally broke through our local media blackout!  County
Council member and Sunset resident Barry Hermanson was extensively
quoted in an article in the Gazetteer.  He spoke on newly appointed
Sunset District Supervisor Alan Wong's support for Mayor Lurie's YIMBY
upzoning plan, which Greens strongly oppose due to concerns that
building more luxury investment condos will lead to increased
unaffordability for current SF residents:

What:  SF Green Party 2025 Holiday Party
Where:  Eco Terreno Urban Tasting Room, 140 Columbus Ave, SF 94133
When:  Wednesday, December 17, 7-10 pm

Everybody is invited to the *SFGP 2025 Holiday Party* on Wednesday,
December 17, 2025!

The theme of the party is "Decades Past."  If you're able, dress up
according to your favorite past decade, such as the '70s, '80s, etc.

We will be serving wine and light appetizers.  The wine will be for sale by
the glass and by the bottle, and we ask that guests buy a glass of wine (if
you partake) to support the establishment as they are generously allowing
us to use their space for free.

What:  NO WAR ON VENEZUELA, Stop the War Before It Starts!
Where:  Civic Center BART Plaza
When:  Saturday, December 6th, 12 PM

The Trump administration is pushing the U.S. toward a catastrophic war
on Venezuela: bypassing Congress, violating international law, and
fabricating pretexts for intervention.

In a briefing earlier this week, Trump promised land strikes in
Venezuela would begin “very soon,” has called for its airspace to be
“closed,” and terminated negotiations with Venezuela’s government.
Missile strikes in the Caribbean and massive troop mobilizations show
this is a full-scale regime change operation in motion.  But it is not
too late to act!  The majority in the U.S. oppose war.  We must stop
this war before it starts!
