Dear Greens,
Happy May Day! Greens will participate in several May Day events
around SF this afternoon:
2 pm at Civic Center - "Workers' Needs Over Billionaires' Greed"
rally, supporting labor and immigrant rights. Groups will rally and
then march down Market Street to the Embarcadero.
3 pm at Harry Bridges Plaza - Steve Zeltzer is holding a rally, and
Green Party CC member Valielza Huynh-O'Keefe will talk about the
Democrats sabotaging universal healthcare on behalf of the Green
Party.
4 pm at Embarcadero Plaza - Join the SF Labor Council, unions, and
allied organizations to show the millionaire and billionaire class
that workers have the powers and we are fighting back against
austerity, against cuts, against greed, against privatization, against
AI taking our jobs, and we are fighting together!
Green Gubernatorial candidate Butch Ware was just interviewed by
Black Agenda Report Executive Editor Margaret Kimberley. Dr. Ware
discussed why the Democratic Party is attempting to keep him off of
the ballot, the need to advance Black politics, and his vision for
California and for the country. The interview is posted here:
