<BR>Jane Kim has been endorsed by The League of Pissed Off Voters and the Tenants Union. Her campaign is also launching a campaign blog, where Jane and other campaign volunteers will be writing entries about their experiences. http://www.janekim.org

<BR>It was a busy week for School Board Member Mark Sanchez. He received the endorsements of the Service Employees International Union, Local 21-Professional and Technical Engineers, Association of Federated Teachers-Local 2121, Tenants Union, and the League of Pissed Off Voters.

<BR>Governor Schwarzenegger's administration has assembled a massive document proposing major reforms in state government. Citizens are able to submit feedback on the plan, but the deadline is September 30. It is important for Greens to participate in this discussion. <BR>Join the campaigns of Terry Baum for Congress and Susan King for Supervisor to distribute literature from 11 AM - 3 PM. The mobilization will take place at Susan King's campaign headquarters at 1347 Divisadero Street, between O'Farrell and Ellis in the Western Addition. The plan is to distribute Terry Baum and Susan King literature throughout the district, and meet the many diverse voters in District 5. The mobilization will be followed with an afternoon party featuring

<BR>The League of Pissed Off Voters is having a benefit at Kelly's Mission Rock from 5 PM until midnight. Kelly's Mission Rock is located at 817 Terry Francois Boulevard in San Francisco. DJs will be spinning hip hop, reggae and soulful house, and there will also be some live acts. Donation is $10-20. The League will release its top 5 endorsements for San Francisco, so come celebrate! 21+

<BR>San Francisco Green Party Endorsement Forum: Candidates for Supervisor
<BR>This forum will be for supervisorial candidates seeking our endorsement in districts 1, 2, 3, 7, 9, and 11. We've already endorsed Renee Saucedo in 9, but will consider other ranked endorsements in that district. This will be an opportunity to hear from the candidates, and the decisions will be made at the meeting on September 29. The forum takes place at the SFGP office, located at 1028 A Howard Street between 6th and 7th Streets in San Francisco from 6 - 10 PM. http://www.sfgreenparty.org

Tens of thousands of folks traditionally gather at this end-of-summer shindig to flaunt their latest looks and grab a piece of sunshine. There will be performance and dance areas, including the Futura Latin stage, the Braindrops Electronic Dance stage, and a country-western stage. Castro Street Fair is a nonprofit organization raising money for charities near and dear to the neighborhood community.

<BR>Rent Party with Comedy & Music for the San Francisco Coalition on Homelessness at the Great American Music Hall!
<BR>The San Francisco Coalition on Homelessness is in danger of losing their offices. The organization's resume is a 17 year-long list of successes, among them a homeless death prevention team, the development of supportive housing, and a shelter grievance program. The Rent Party will include performers Doug Ferrari, Brian Copeland, Killing My Lobster, Tom Ammiano, Jim Short, Las Vegas Headliner Mickey Joseph, San Francisco's The Meehan Brothers, and Jimmy Gunn from Deep Space. Rock with the Junior Panthers, and groove with Gene Burkert's HiFi Jazz. Doors open at 7 PM, showtime is 7:30. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.
