* Eco-feminist Workshop: Saturday, March 29, 7-9 p.m.<br>

Representatives of the Portland Animal Defense League, Rising Tide North
America and Stumptown Earth First! will present a two-hour workshop on
radical eco-feminism and environmental ethics. Eco-feminism is the social
movement that regards the oppression of women and nature as
interconnected. The presentation is interactive and provides plenty
of time for discussion. <br><br>
* "Stone Soup" Luncheon Lecture Featuring Daniel Ellsberg:
Sunday, March 30, Noon until 2 p.m.<br>
First Unitarian Church of San Francisco, 1187 Franklin St. (at Geary)

Doors open at noon; if hungry, bring a snack or purchase a light
vegetarian lunch at 12:15 for $4. Lecture starts at 12:45. Event is
co-sponsored by the World Community Advocates of San Francisco Unitarians

whistleblower Daniel Ellsberg, speaking on war and peace to commemorate

The Animal Advocacy Working Group of the San Francisco Green Party (AWG)
is involved in animal issues in San Francisco, enables animal activists
to make the legislature at City Hall aware of these issues and influences
them to pass laws that protect animals. All activists are
welcome. Arrive at 7 p.m. to order dinner, or 7:30 p.m. for the
official meeting. To find us, look for the table with the greeting
card or picture showing three wolf pups.<br><br>
