[GPCA-SGA-Votes] Discuss ID 155: Endorsement Policy Amendment: GPCA Endorsements for General Election Candidates

If we're talking about having the goal of running more candidates for
seats, how does endorsing non-Greens fit into this?

If it's based on "The Norm of Reciprocity," where we would expect
returned-kindness from our endorsements of others, we would be making a big
leap of faith, with no guarantee in the end.

As such, bylaws should not be amended in order to achieve this; vote NO.

Further, Maine Green Independent Party had major ideological divisions over
supporting Democrats over Greens in elections, and therefore cannot really
be used as example, accurately, in this debate, as this amendment proposal
would exclude corporate parties.

I hope all further discourse on this matter can be debated without
devolving into personal attacks about what members do and do not "grasp."
