Because this our first time using OpaVote there were bound to be glitches. The OpaVote software unfortunately did not have a way to extend the vote, and since extending the vote would not have changed the results we decided this round not to extend or redo
the vote.<br>
<br>
However, as I said in a previous email, if people intended to vote and want the count of their votes to be part of the numerical record, we can set up a new vote round just for those who missed Sunday night because the vote closed three hours early.<br>
<br>
This would not change the results of the election, so the only reason to do it is to show higher and different vote totals for the same result.<br>
<br>
Anyone who wants to go through this process please contact the Vote Admins.<br>

<p><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif; color:black">I don't really know the particulars, the specifics, but I wonder why anyone would have to become part of another county/city's Green Party in order to vote. I know that each county/city/town has
its own particular conditions, circumstances, etc. I wonder if it's ok to address that concern since it is about this specific voting process.</span></p>

You should have received an email from OpaVote on Monday, November 13 at about 5:00pm and another reminder (if you had not voted by then) on Thursday, November 16 at about 8:00pm. The upper part of the first email is copied below. There is a VOTE button in
the email that you need to click in order to cast your vote. You may need to check your spam folder.<br>

Note that this temporary replacement SGA voting system needed to be developed because the new SGA vote administrators were not provided access to the existing
