[Sustain] [SFGP-A] SF Weekly, Guardian, Nail Key Flaws In Proposed Mayor Selection Process

I was able to catch some of yesterday' meeting on TV, and it looks like an
amended version of this process passed.

I have to wonder if Chris Daly isn't kicking himself. After all, he is the
reason that David Chiu and not Ross is board president. Daly was out to
get Ross, and now we have Board President Chiu and most likely
acting/interim Mayor David Chiu. Ugh.

The board should be spending this time discussing who should be interim
Mayor. I think Matt Gonzalez would be great, but almost anyone would be
better than Chiu, IMHO.
