[Sustain] Urgent Action! Tell SF Supervisors: Support CleanPowerSF, Green Jobs!

Hi all,

After eight years of organizing to get CleanPowerSF off the ground, the 
moment has at last arrived. But PG&E is putting high pressure on San 
Francisco City Hall to kill CleanPowerSF, so it is crucial for all of us 
to contact the SF Supervisors and Mayor immediately. THEN please forward 
this alert to everyone you know who cares about saving the planet, and 
putting thousands of San Franciscans to work building a green economy.

*Help launch CleanPowerSF, a program that brings renewable energy online 
in San Francisco and lays the foundation for hundreds of megawatts of 
local renewable energy and energy efficiency. This program will create 
thousands of local clean-energy jobs. *

The Supervisors will soon vote on legislation that will enable the City 
to engage in a 30-megawatt clean energy purchasing agreement as phase 
one of CleanPowerSF. This program will kick-start the unprecedented 
development of local renewable energy and energy efficiency measures.

This innovative program will reduce greenhouse gas emissions and provide 
participants with renewable electricity immediately.
