I'm not sure whether it is going to be the first or second hour, but
-Biofuels- will be the subject of discussion of one of the two hours
that make up the KPFA call-in program 'Sunday Salon' this Sunday from
9am to 11am.<br>

It will be critical for those of you who are best educated on why
biofuels are so bad to try to call in and get a word in edgewise.<br>

hope that you're all planning to attend the bio-fuels presentation
coming up this Tuesday evening at the Pacific Energy Center. A
scientist from Lawrence Berkeley will be talking about, among other
points, the problem of scaling up bio-fuel production. It's interesting
to see this problem from a big picture perspective, going beyond
discussing the various technical options in front of us, to what it's
going to take to make a real difference in today's energy usage
patterns.</div>
