Ok all, we've finally got some clarity. Below you will see the schedule
of this weekend's California Green Party two day plenary.<br>
Important Note: There are currently two proposed agendas which are sort
of mixed together below. We should do our presentation/workshop during
one of the times that is consistent for both versions. I think we
should go for Saturday (because people will be worn out on Sunday) and
I think we should avoid the 10:10-11:45 am time slot, because it is a
virtual certainty that everybody will still be arguing about the agenda
all the way up until lunch time. My recommendation is that we go at
2:25-3:30 pm which Susan rightly notes will be a great time for a
workshop.<br>

Anyway, Jeanne, since you're headlining it, what is your preference.
They need to know soon, when, and how long. we want to go.<br>

Re: a place to meet, how about the Morning Awakenings
cafe on McAllister between Hyde and Levenworth? I
don't know how late they are open on Saturday, but I
like the idea of a cafe over a bar for those of us
either recovering from alcohol dependency or
ex-smokers like myself who try to avoid places like
bars to avoid lapses. (Plus I think they sell beer and
wine too.) People can meet up there too and go out
afterwards to bars/nightclubs or whatever.
I'll have to think a bit more about restaurants in the
area, but there is a Asian noodle restaurant on the SE
corner of Van Ness and Eddy (or Ellis or thereabouts)
that is fairly reasonable (plates around $10) and is
also quite good. (It's a lunchtime favorite of
city-hall types.) They serve a variety of different
"classics" from various countries like Thai, Chinese,
etc. If the group isn't too large, there's another
favorite of mine, Suppenkuche(sp), on Hayes at Laguna
that is fairly reasonable, has good food and a nice
variety of more uncommon beers.
So far there is only one group that I know about that
wants to table during the plenary. Let me know if you
her about any others.

Presentations- as predicted, we do not have a solid
agenda. I know
there are several folks planning workshops- please
get back to
Christina Olague, Dave Wilbur and me about the
presentations that are
going to occur. I think at this point, we should
just go ahead and
schedule them any time, since I have NO confidence
that there will be
an agenda that we will be able to commit to. Please
let me know if
you think I am off base here.
Suggestion for a restaurant for the California
Delegates to the US
Green Party to meet and do business. Needs to be
affordable and
walkable, if you have any ideas, they are most
welcome.
Saturday's night out remains to be determined- any
suggestions on
where we can go for a few drinks would be welcomed.
The Temple bar is
unfortunately closed this weekend.
What else? I does anyone have access to check our
PayPal account to
see if anyone has sent in registration?
