Many Bay Area Greens attended the Alameda Green Party's recent Green Sunday program, "A Conversation About Ukraine and Peace, with Jill Stein & Howie Hawkins." Organized by Renay Jenkins of the Bayview-Hunters Point Mothers and Fathers Committee with assistance from John Torok, SEIU Local 1000 DLC 743 (for identification purposes only). Water Justice: The View from Flint, New Orleans, and Jackson, Mississippi proposes to situate the environmental injustices at Bayview Hunters Point in the broader context of racist neglect of some other Black communities elsewhere in the country. Attention will be drawn to the intersection of class, gender and race and historical injustices. At around 11:30, we'll head over to Bayview Plaza to join the Bayview Hunters Point Community Peoples Earth Day Peace Walk and Environmental Justice Rally. This rally will be held from 12 - 3 pm, starting at the Bayview Plaza, 3801 3rd Street, SF.
