Hi, Since we're thinking about printing posters soon after the filing deadline, we should put more thought into a color theme for the updated website, buttons, posters, and campaign logo. Personally, I don't really like green too much as a poster color for Green candidates--it doesn't stand out well. I thought some of the best posters I've seen were these from Matt Gonzalez, with a "yellow/gold boxes" theme: http://backspace.com/is/in/the/house/work/pg/matt_print.html and also these from Ross Mirkarimi's supervisorial campaign, with an "orange ball" theme: https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/1/236602_2a35655b0b.jpg Some bright colors, like gold, purple, red, or orange would work better than green or blue, I think. Colors on posters tend to fade, so it's important for both "Francisco Herrera" and the word "Mayor" to stand out. JMC -- John-Marc Chandonia (jmc@sfgreens.org) http://sfgreens.org/
Hello John, Thank you for the suggestions regarding changing the colors for the campaign and the samples you sent. Francisco chose "lime green" because it's the color of the "heart chacra" but I'm sure we can work on it. Thank you very much for updating the email list of contacts for the "core team" for FRANCISCO HERRERA 4 SF MAYOR CAMPAIGN. Shortly after you left, a friend of Francisco , H. Jack Pytel, dropped by.
