Re: [SFGP Finance] Finanaces and Fundraising Letter
The $2,000 I sent to enable the slate card to be printed was a loan. Regarding the fundraising list. I was hearing that there was very little response to calls, so I didn't waste any time on it. Barry

Susan and Barry, please read through to the end:

I'm attaching the latest spreadsheet of our finances. There are a lot of other worksheets included that I was just using to work out our last report - you can disregard them... Not very interesting.
Thanks; I'll take a look later today.
Right now, we are just waiting for two checks to post - phone and PG&E. Other than that, I think we're pretty much all settled up with our payments, though I'm still a little unclear on if we were ever going to payback (?) Barry (?) for mailing fees for the slate card? The printing of the card itself has been paid and posted.
Here's what Susan had to say on 10/31. I think this implies that we still owe Barry some for the mailing. I've copied him so he might be able to tell us if we still do, and if so, how much.

I'm still not very clear on what the amounts were decided on for rent for campaigns, and who is tracking this. Jane Kim's campaign gave us a check for $100 the other day... Is that what we are expecting from her? I don't know.
I think the only campaigns we rented to were Jane Kim ($75/mo, see CC minutes from 9/11) and Krissy Keefer ($100/mo + phone costs, see CC minutes from 7/12). The $100 from Jane is probably for the slate card, not rent, as it matches the amount above. Do any of the other donations we've received seem to match the names/amounts above for the slate card?
I think you said that the letter would cost around $1000? If so, then I don't think we'll have any problem.
Great. Do you have the SFGP's current donor list? According to Susan (see the 7/12 CC minutes), we had a list of ~800 names that were split between Krissy and Barry's campaigns. They agreed to give us back the cleaned up lists (i.e., let us know which addresses were bad) at the end of the campaign. Do you have either the original list or the list of bad addesses? If not, I've copied both Susan and Barry on the message so they can give input. We want to come up with a list of 2000 people to send the letter to, which will include the cleaned list of donors (presumably now less than 800).
