Given this, for anyone seeking our party?s endorsement, I think the video should be deleted from YouTube. But at a minimum, if this embarrassment is to remain on-line, the use of the words ?Green Party? should be removed from the video's title. I think that if it is regarded as such an effective idea/strategy maybe the title if the video should be changed to "Josh Jones and Sadie Fulto Sex Tape" because using the "Green Party" on the title + him being a candidate can create many assumptions plus bring serious backfire to the Party. I am actually supporting Chris Carlson for Governor (since I am his campaign treasurer.) However, I can clearly see from the video that 1 ) It was meant as satire 2 ) It is making a serious point on the corrupt nature of campaign finance system and 3 ) It was meant to generate publicity. Given the nature of the discussion on this thread, their plan is clearly working. I agree that it's just a gimmick, but we're trying to grow the Green Party. Don't let people use this as a reason to stay where they're at or join another political party. I'm sure Angelica realizes there is no explicit content in the video, as she makes her point, "The concept and content is immature and damaging to our party. I agree, and to go further, I think we ought to be cautious in how we present ourselves in relation to our platform, pillars and values, because this satirical video could easily be interpreted as poking fun at sex work. GP has already received criticism in "not being progressive enough in these issues," because of a platform amendment proposal to distinguish trafficking vs. Sex Work ( https://titsandsass.com/why-sex-workers-shouldnt-vote-green/). The connotation behind the message in Jones' and Fulton's video seems to be that choosing to engage in legitimate sex work to raise money is such an obviously absurd concept, when we should actually be working to normalize sex work, and stand with those who engage.
