It is just a clever deceptive trick. If you read between the lines, you'll notice that PG&E is not talking about -its- solar panels, it is talking about solar panels that individual customers have put on their own homes and businesses. The actual amount of solar energy that PG&E produces and sells to its customers is: zero anngarrison@comcast.net wrote:

Excellent Short Audio On The Biofuels Myth To point others to listen to a great audio interview that packs almost every major problem with biofuels into one 9 minute interview go to: http://www.radio4all.net/index.php?op=program-info&program_id=22490&nav=&
Biofuel Threat Now Becoming Exponentially Worse Hey all, I just watched a chilling panel discussion on C-Span 2. The forum was put together by representatives for the IDB (Inter-American Development Bank) two of whom were on the panel. (The IDB is sort of like the World Bank of the Western Hemisphere.) Also on the panel were; Jeb Bush, who now heads an ethanol industry council; and a former President of Kissinger & Associates. The panel, titled 'Private Investment in Hemispheric Biofuels', touted the looming biofuels boom and how the panelists intend to garner $200 billion in investment funds to implement a massive expansion of Western Hemisphere biofuel production (including palm oil biodiesel in countries like Colombia). To see tape purchasing info on the panel video go to: http://inside.c-spanarchives.org:8080/cspan/cspan.csp?command=dprogram&recor... I don't know if the program will air again on C-Span... Eric B
