Alexander Cockburn told me he doesn't believe that global warming has anything to do with man-made CO2 emissions; he just thinks it's a planetary process. I don't know enough science to have an opinion about this but you don't have to convince me one way or another about that to convince me that it's time to stop all these lethal gas, oil, coal, and nuclear power plant, home heating, and auto emissions, or the wars, uranium mining, and rainforest destruction they're inspiring.
