[Sustain] Polluting Plant Hearing Confirmed! Monday May 5, City Hall, Room 250, 10am!
Ok all, This is it! This is THE big one. The hearing for -all- legislation, both ordinances opposing, and contracts establishing, the polluting Bayview Combustion Turbine project, will be heard right after our City Hall rally this Monday morning. The hearing will be in City Hall room 250 (the 'big' room - they KNOW we're coming y'all!). Let's pour into the hearing room after that rally and -demand- a halt to the power plant project! This will be our last chance to be heard before the final Board of Supervisors vote on the power plant. The committee will be the Government Audits and Oversight Committee. Our items begin at item 6, but the matters preceding it are mostly pro-forma and not expected to take long.
