Why is it so important to complete the plank before the June election?
The CC had discussed lobbying the supes with it this summer, but I don't mind using the old one if we don't get this done until later this year. But since both you and Jeanne already had ideas for specific changes to language, we could probably finish it sooner rather than later. So far, the people who have responded are: Eric, prefers weekends, 1-2 days JMC, any time, 2-3 hours Jeanne, ~2 hours Sue, available after 4/15 These are all the date/time preferences people have posted. Can you think of anyone else not on the list we should invite? I think the consensus seems to be to take only 2-3 hours. In order to expedite the meeting, everybody who wants to make edits hould make and submit their edits (to transpo14.txt) in advance to the transpo WG list. Please feel free to edit or re-order the current numbered points, add sections or more preamble, and delete points that you think are obsolete. That way we won't have to spend so much time at the meeting working on language (although we still will in cases where we don't have consensus). We can schedule the in-person meeting once everybody who wants to suggest edited language has done so. JMC -- John-Marc Chandonia (jmc@sfgreens.org) http://sfgreens.org/
