Fw: District 5 site for a screening/forum on The End of Suburbia and e nergy issues
Hello Everyone, Regina, I sent this to the wrong e-mail address before. I'm trying to arrange for another event re. transportation and peak oil/energy issues and have found a place in District 5 that we can use on Thursday, September 22, World Car-Free Day. This event could be like the two other events the TWG has held that Ross participated in. I just need members of the TWG, Ross and Regina to get back to me so that I can get back to Sami Sunchild, the owner of the Red Vic B&B. Sue ---------- Forwarded Message ---------- Hello Everyone, I met with Sami Sunchild, owner of the Red Vivtorian B&B on Haight Street this morning. The B&B has a large community space that is fully equiped for DVD screenings -- projector, large wall, etc. There is also a small stage. If we hold our usual event at this place, we could do a collection and split the proceeds with the B&B -- but the B&B would have to get a minimum of $60. It would be great if we could do this on World Car-Free Day, September 22 (a Thursday), but we would to end the event at 9 p.m. at the latest. We could use the space from about 6 p.m. on. Sami wants to know soon because she is working on her fall schedule. Sue
