September 22 screening of The End of Suburbia, followed by a panel dis cussion with Ross Mirkarimi and others
Hello Everyone, Yesterday morning I finalized plans with Sami Sunchild, the owner of the Red Vic B&B (not the theater) for our third screening of The End of Suburbia, followed by a panel discussion. Details: When: Thursday, September 22, World Car-Free Day Time: 6 p.m. the audience begins to arrive; 6:30 p.m. we begin the documentary. The event should be over by 9 p.m. Where: The Red Victorian Bed and Breakfast, 1665 Haight Street We need volunteers for the following duties: Greeting people at the doors -- 2 Making a pitch for donations -- 1, Susan King has said she'll do that; one half of what we raise will go to the Red Vic B&B, minimum of $60. Operating the DVD projector -- 1 Camera person -- 1 Arranging seats and cleaning up afterwards -- one or two people Staffing a table to do voter reg, etc. -- one or two Some people in the TWG have already said they will be available to help, but I'd like to get confirmation.
