The Fair Elections Now Act would provide the option of public financing for all candidates for U.S. House & Senate, finally freeing our elected officials to act in the public interest, rather than for the special interests. Should this bill pass, it would dramatically change how politics happens in the United States, and hence, the entire world.

Being that 2nd in command Democrat in the Senate, Dick Durbin, and House Democratic Chair, John Larson, are both the lead Democratic sponsors, this bill has a real chance of passage.
