7:30 to 9:30 p.m., Special General Membership meeting.  We will consider Propositions A (transit charter reform), C (requiring public hearings for mayoral and supervisor ballot measures), D (library preservation Renewal fund), G (establishing Golden Gate Park stables matching fund), and I (establishing an office of Small Business and creating a small business assistance center).

2. Thursday, August 30
6:30PM-9:00PM, Army of None Book Launch: Strategies to Counter Military Recruitment, End the War, and Build a Better World by Aimee Allison and David Solnit

BOOK RELEASE & PROJECT KICK-OFF CELEBRATION Join Army vet Aimee Allison and global justice organizer and puppeteer David Solnit in celebrating their book release and launching a 40-city tour to support local counter recruitment and antiwar efforts.
