* Animal Advocacy Working Group Meeting:  Thursday, April 3, 7 p.m. (meeting starts at 7:30)

The Animal Advocacy Working Group of the San Francisco Green Party (AWG) is involved in animal issues in San Francisco, enables animal activists to make the legislature at City Hall aware of these issues and influences them to pass laws that protect animals.  All activists are welcome.  Arrive at 7 p.m. to order dinner, or 7:30 p.m. for the official meeting.  To find us, look for the table with the greeting card or picture showing three wolf pups.

* An Activist Remembered: Saturday, April 5, 8 p.m., $15
King Middle School Auditorium, 1781 Rose Street, Berkeley 
KPFA Radio presents a dramatic reading of Rachel Corrie's journals by her mother and father and young-women peace activists. Rachel Corrie was the young-American college student and activist killed by a bulldozer in 2003 as she tried to block the Israeli demolition of a Palestinian physician's house in Gaza. * Barry Hermanson For Congress Campaign Rally And Precinct Walk: Saturday, April 5, 2 p.m.  
Meet at Barry's house, 2467 28th Ave., then go out to do a precinct walk.  The special election is Tuesday, April 8.

* KPFA/Pacifica News & Views Crisis Forum: Sunday, April 6, 12-4 p.m., Free (donations welcomed)

The Fair Elections Committee presents a program on the divisive issues confronting KPFA/Pacifica.  Wheelchair accessible; food available. 

* Olympic Torch Run Protest: April 9, Noon, Justin Herman Plaza and along the Route
The Olympic torch is coming to San Francisco, giving us a chance to send a message to China and the world.  We will line the torch route to demand that China end the killings and free Tibet.
