April Events and Meetings: 
 
1.  Thursday 4/11, 6-8 pm: Very important Town Hall Meeting in Oakland
on the suspension of JR Valrey from his KPFA 8 am Wednesday Block
Report program. Justice needs a wake-up call at KPFA. Laney College,
900 Fallon St., Student Center Rm. 401. Lake Merritt BART. SFGP and
many members have signed the petition in support of JR. Add your name

2.  Saturday 4/13 at Noon: Drones out of Africa, Middle East, Asia and
here! Rally at Powell & Market. Sponsored by ANSWER. Volunteers
needed. 415-821-6545.
 
3.  Sunday April 14, noon-4 pm: Join SFGP for tabling at Sunday
Streets in the Mission. 24th St & Shotwell. Valencia will be shut down
to car traffic for several miles.  Email cc at sfgreens.com if you can
help. Register more Greens to vote, hand Peoples Tribune and
educate/collect postcards against the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline.

4.  Every 3rd Wednesday SF Green Party County Council meets 7:30-9 pm
at El Cafetazo, 3087 16th St.-- 1 1/2 blks. from 16th & Mission BART.

5.  Saturday April 20, 10am-6pm: ONE GREEN VOICE! Greens table at
Civic Center Earth Day event.  Email cc at sfgreens.org if you can
help. Help registered more Green voters; handout new! SFGP literature
and educate/collect postcards against the Keytone XL tar sands
pipeline.
 
6.  Sunday April 21, 10am-Noon: Earth Day clean-up Ocean Beach. Bring
your own bags. Organizers will be on the beach just below the Cliff
House off the Great Hwy.
 
7.  Monday April 22nd at NOON: Earth Day: Stop Environmental
Injustice! Protest the Keystone XL pipeline from Canada across the
US. US EPA Region 1X office, 75 Hawthorne St. between 2nd & 3rd
St. and Howard & Folsom near the Mongomery BART. Event is endorsed by
the San Francisco Green Party.

8.  SF Green Party Members meet every 4th Wednesday. Next meeting 4/24
at 7-9 pm. Speaker for tonight on SF Public School planning/PEPS
Community process for envisioning the best public schools possible and
making it happen; no Charter schools!  El Cafetazo, 3087 16th St. near
Valencia St and 16th St. BART. Everyone welcome.

9.  Former US Congresswoman and 2008 Green Party candidate for
President, Cynthia McKinney speaks in Oakland Wednesday April 24th,
6:30 pm on her recent trip to Venezuela for the funeral of Hugo
Chavez; and Latin America, America, Africa and Obama. Laney College
Forum, 900 Fallon St.  JR Valrey will host this event. more info
