1. SF Sunset Greens Gathering Saturday 3/23 at NOON. Come meet some of
the hundreds of Greens who live in the Outer Sunset. Talk of
gardening, upcoming fall election Green candidate and more. Home of
Mike Murphy & Kim Pelish, 1511 44th Av. @ Kirkham. Lunch. Call Mike

2. Saturday 3/23 4:30-7:30pm See "Bowling for Columbine" with Michael
Moore. Moore is screening it from NY for its 10th Anniversary of its
Academy Award; then following it up with questions from groups of
people like us all over the country. Get a deeper understanding of
what it will take to decrease violence in the US. It's not going away
without serious change and we do much more than be the change we want
to see. Serving Peace Pizza, incl. vegetarian. Though quite funny,

3. Sunday 3/24 11am-3 pm--National Day to Keep Saturday Delivery and
Save the Postal Service. Gather at N. Beach Post Office, 1640 Stockton
St.@ Union opposite Washington Square Park. Speakers, music and
protest. The Post Office is the 2nd largest employer in the US with
over 500,000 employees. If they privatize the post office, will you
pay to have your mail delivered? The good union jobs for many women
and people of color will be gone and it will be like working for Wal

4. Monday 3/25, 6 pm Public forum on the Trans-Pacific Partner Free
Trade Agreement. Being drawn up behind closed doors with the intention
of signing this year! Another NAFTA/CAFTA nightmare.  Held at 2017

5. Tuesday 3/26 6 pm March is Women's Month. Panel on Empowering
Latinas with Eliana Lopez-Mirikarimi speaking. 513 Valencia--2 blks
from 16th & Mission BART. donation....no one turned

6. SF Green Party Members meet every 4th Wednesday. Next meeting 3/27
from 7-9 pm. We will be discussing outreach and organizing efforts,
including in-person work and an electronic outreach strategy.  We'll
also have a speaker on SF Public School planning/PEPS: Community
process for envisioning the best public schools possible and making it
happen; no Charter schools.  El Cafetazo, 3087 16th St. near Valencia
St and 16th St. BART. Everyone welcome.
