EVENTS:

Get Out the Vote!
When: Now until the election
Where: The Sunset, and everywhere else in SF

Volunteers are needed in District Four (the Sunset) to do outreach to
Green Party Voters. Projected turnout for the November 5th election
is expected to be below 30% of all voters in SF. During the next 12
days, in addition to helping Mike Murphy in his campaign for District
Four Supervisor, we will work to encourage 50% of Greens to vote.
Please join us as we hand deliver the SFGP Voter Guide to Greens in
the Sunset. For more information or to volunteer, contact Mike Murphy
at mm_urizon at yahoo.com or Barry Hermanson at barry at hermansons.com (or
415-255-9494).

Greater Good Food Fair
When: Saturday, October 26th - 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Civic Center Plaza

The SFGP will have a table at the Greater Good Food Fair in Civic
Center Plaza. This free festival celebrates real food--sustainably and
fairly grown, and free of genetic modification. The Fair will feature
live music, speakers, organic and regionally-produced foods from local
businesses, and cooking demonstrations. Panel discussion topics will
include Food Integrity in Our Local Systems, Social Responsibility:
Pathways to Community Well Being, and Community Gardens Responding to
Community Needs. A keynote address by Tezozomoc, community garden
advocate and National Defense Council's Growing Green Food Justice
Leader of 2013, will highlight the event. See
http://ggfood.org/schedule/ for a full schedule of events.
Co-coordinated by Green Party member Liz Kroboth. Call Barry at
415-255-9494 to sign up to volunteer.

Sunday Streets
When: Sunday, October 27th - 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.- Sunday Streets in the
      Richmond
Where: Clement Street between 5th and 7th Avenues, Richmond

Look for the SFGP table on Clement Street between 5th and 7th Avenues
after 11 a.m. This is the final Sunday Streets of the year. With the
farmer's market drawing large numbers of people and the popularity of
Sunday Streets, this should be a very well attended event. Call Barry
at 415-255-9494 to sign up to volunteer.

Picket for Single Payer Healthcare at Democratic Party Fundraiser
When: Tuesday, October 29th - 6 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.

willing to discuss cutting Medicare and Social Security to balance the
budget. Join Single Payer Now in sending a strong message to
strengthen and expand Medicare and Social Security - no cuts! Please
