SF Greens have made the following endorsements for the June election:

SF: 
    * No on A, a $400 million local bond measure that claims to fund
      fire and police stations, but is not actually required to
    * Yes on B, the right to vote on Waterfront development that
      exceeds the current height limits.
    * Congress, D12 - Barry Hermanson
    * State Assembly, D17 - David Campos
    * Superior Court Judge, Office 20 - Daniel Flores

Statewide:
    * Governor - Luis Rodriguez
    * Lt Governor - Jena Goodman
    * Controller - Laura Wells
    * Treasurer - Ellen Brown
    * Secretary of State - David Curtis
    * Yes on 41, a bond measure to fund supportive housing for
      veterans
    * Yes on 42, a requirement for local govenments to follow open
      meetings and public records laws

Watch for our complete Green Voter Guide to be posted on this website
as we get closer to the election!  The Voter Guide will include longer
explanations for each position we took.  We will also print a
postcard, so if you can donate to help with our printing and mailing
expenses or volunteer to help distribute our cards, please contact us,

Sunday, 4/13 - Sunday Streets
Time:  11 am - 2 pm (although the event runs longer)
Where:  Tenderloin, SF

Greens will have a table at Sunday Streets in the Tenderloin!  Come
help register voters, or say hi to our volunteers.  More info on the

We will locate our table near other progressive organizations, and
will be there from 11 am until 2 pm.  To find us, call Barry Hermanson

Sunday, 4/13 - Hear Laura Wells speak on Prop 13
Time:  1:30 pm - 4 pm
Where:  SF Public Library, Richmond Branch
        351 9th Ave between Geary and Clement, enter on 10th Ave.

Tax Day Symposium: Pros and Cons of Prop 13.

Panelists will lead off the discussion, including
Laura Wells, the Green Party candidate for State Controller
Trish Cypher, part of the anti-Plan Bay Area coalition
Brian Holtz, Libertarian on a water board in San Mateo County

Open to all. Bring your ideas and literature.

Saturday, 4/19 - Earth Day
Time:  10 am - 6 pm
Where:  Civic Center, SF

Greens will have a booth at Earth Day-- help volunteer to promote
our candidates and register Greens!  We will have our large booth
and banner at the Civic Center.  If you can volunteer, contact

Wednesday, 4/23 - Monthly Meeting
Time:  7-9 pm
Where:  Redstone Building, 2940 16th Street #301, SF

Save the date!  This month, we will discuss the proposal to build
a new jail with Sheriff Ross Mirkarimi and other guests.  A full
agenda will be posted closer to the date.

Our Meetings are now held in our new office space in the Redstone Building!

        Bayview Hunters Point, San Francisco

Environmental Justice Walk Against Cancer and Pollution

Let's march together in memory of our loved ones who have passed or
are suffering from cancer, and dedicate ourselves to work for healthy
communities and environmental and climate justice.

Stop pollution of our communities! Toxic waste & neighborhoods don't
mix!  Protect communities from climate change & rising sea levels that
threaten to flood toxic sites near our homes!
