What:  Green Party Monthly Meeting
Where:  Redstone Bldg (2940 16th Street, near South Van Ness) #301, SF
When:  Wed, Oct 25, 7-9 pm

Agenda:
1) Introductions - 5 minutes
2) Report-back from Save Midtown meeting - an event the residents of
   Midtown organized to get answers from their Supervisor, London
   Breed, who didn't show up. (see https://www.facebook.com/savemidtown/)
   15-25 minutes
3) Delegate selection and decision making for the Green Party of
   California's General Assembly in Ventura (see details below) - 20 min
4) Work on new SFGP outreach materials on universal health care
   and on opposing military spending.  Our card on military spending
   is near-final, and posted on our website:

5) Update our questionnaires to candidates running for office in 2018.
   We hope to work with other progressive groups such as the
   Democratic Socialists of America and the SF Berniecrats next year
   to hold joint candidate forums or ask candidates similar policy

6) Preliminary planning for our Holiday Party in December/January

Everyone welcome.  All meetings are whelchair accessible.

The SF Green Party County Council is our local leadership body
that plans the agenda for our monthy meetings.  If you want to get an
item on the agenda, please contact us at cc at sfgreens.org.  The CC has
moved its in-person meetings to the 2nd Wednesdays of each month, two
weeks prior to our monthly meetings.  Monthly meetings (like the
one above) will still be held on the 4th Wednesday of every month,
although we usually reschedule them in November and December due to
holidays.

What:  Green Party of California General Assembly
Where:  Bell Arts Factory, 432 N Ventura Ave, Ventura, CA
When:  Sat-Sun, Nov 11-12, all day

The next statewide Green Party meeting will be in Ventura.  San
Francisco can send up to 6 delegates to make decisions, as well as an
unlimited number of observers or alternates.  If you want to go,
please attend the SFGP monthly meeting on 10/25, or email us at

What:  Save the Date - next Save Midtown Meeting
When:  Wed, Nov 15, evening

Residents of Midtown (a public housing complex in the Fillmore) are
still fighting with the City to save their homes from demolition.  It
was announced at last week's meeting that the next meeting will be
held on November 15.  Details TBA, so watch the facebook page for
updates:
