What: Get Out The Vote: Party for the People Hip Hop and Jazz
When: Saturday, Oct 20, 1-5 pm
Where: 1730 Great Highway, SF
Beats, Greets, and Eats. Let's Take It Back.
An afternoon of Jazz and Hip Hop in support of our hyperlocal effort
to elect Mike Murphy for San Francisco Board of Supervisors, District 4.
We need at least one legislator in government who will represent
our interests, who will hear and serve the community, who will be the
means to break down the barricades to the halls of power that
establishment politicians have erected to serve their big money
owners. We deserve a real say in decisions that affect our lives and
futures. We deserve a real representative democracy. We can do better
than trickle-down, top-down decisions made by an elite few investors
in the machine politics of our City. Let's come together, keep it
real, and vote in Solidarity.
Performers: A C Lewis Jazz Ensemble with Jerry Woo, members of The
Watershed with Equipto.
