There is no button on this email to click to vote.  I can't figure out how to get into the new system, and I don't understand why we are being asked to join the San Joaquin County party as part of the process.

You should have received an email from OpaVote on Monday, November 13 at about 5:00pm and another reminder (if you had not voted by then) on Thursday, November 16 at about 8:00pm. The upper part of the first email is copied below. There is a  VOTE button in the email that you need to click in order to cast your vote. You may need to check your spam folder.
