[Sustain] Polluting Plant Hearing Confirmed! Monday May 5, City Hall, Room 250, 10am!

Ok all,

This is it! This is THE big one.

The hearing for -all- legislation, both ordinances opposing, and 
contracts establishing, the polluting Bayview Combustion Turbine 
project, will be heard right after our City Hall rally this Monday 
morning. The hearing will be in City Hall room 250 (the 'big' room - 
they KNOW we're coming y'all!).

Let's pour into the hearing room after that rally and -demand- a halt to 
the power plant project!

This will be our last chance to be heard before the final Board of 
Supervisors vote on the power plant.

The committee will be the Government Audits and Oversight Committee. Our 
items begin at item 6, but the matters preceding it are mostly pro-forma 
and not expected to take long.

accommodate the proposed projects, subject to further agreements among 
the affected City departments; and making environmental findings and 
findings of consistency with the General Plan and the Priority Policies 
of Planning Code Section 101.1.
