[Sustain] [GIWG] Fwd: Re: Changes to electricity in San Francisco

Arcadia is worse than that, it is a sham.

Arcadia makes its money off of trading *existing* renewable energy
credits from already existing wind farms.

No new renewable energy is produced at all.

Arcadia makes money by simply inserting itself in between wind producers
and consumers and gouging them for profit.

Arcadia is so bad that Sierra Club California has successfully asked the
national Club not to promote the program in this state. The only reason
the national Club is continuing at all elsewhere is that it already has
a contract with Arcadia.

No one should sign up with Arcadia. It is a total scam. And as you say
Don, it pulls money away from Community Choice programs and diverts it
into a bottomless corporate black hole.
