August 23 GREENZINE SF Green Party Weekly News and Events www.sfgreenparty.org twitter.com/sfgreenparty mastodon.sfgreens.org/@sfgreenparty www.facebook.com/groups/SFGreenParty/ Dear Greens, Please join us for our monthly meeting next week! Details are below. Note that we're interviewing Mayoral candidate Joel Ventresca near the beginning of the meeting, so please come on time. We submitted an official opponent's argument to the Department of Elections in opposition to Prop D (the misleadingly named "traffic congestion mitigation tax"). We lost the lottery to the Republicans, so we will not be the official opponents. However, our argument is on our website, here: http://sfgreenparty.org/endorsements/90-november-2019-endorsements We will release an expanded version of that argument in our Voter Guide, to be published after we finish making our endorsements. *===========================* What: SF Green Party Monthly Meeting (and endorsements) Where: Redstone Bldg (2940 16th Street, near South Van Ness) #301, SF When: Wed, August 28, 7-9 pm Agenda: * Introductions * Mayoral candidate interviews; see questionnaire from challenger Joel Ventresca, here: http://sfgreens.org/questionnaires/2019/ventresca_mayor.html Ventresca is scheduled to interview with us early in our meeting, around 7 or 7:30.
