Hi Chin, I'm also against NAP, but I think we should ask about it. For many questions on the questionnaire of the form "do you support X?" the right answer is not necessarily yes. If you prefer, we could add a sentence to the question indicating there's controversy within the environmental community on the issue, so there's no implication that we support it. We also don't have to worry about sabotaging any Green candidate's chances, because there are no credible Green candidates in this race. Finally, NAP is one of those issues that's below many people's radar. Raising the issue will force people to look at it and take a stand. I don't know whether most people in SF would support the program or not if they knew more about it, but I think it's very important to have some democratic input.
