Can you give instructions on how people retrieve the archives?
Sure. Step 1) visit the website given at the bottom of each message sent to the list:
Delegates mailing list Delegates@sfgreens.org https://list.sfgreens.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/delegates
2) When you go to list.sfgreens.org, you may be asked whether you want to accept my secure server certificate. If so, say yes. 3) Click on the link near the top of the page that says "Delegates Archives". You will be asked for your email address and password. The email address is the one you're subscribed under (e.g., jmc@sfgreens.org). The password should have been emailed to you when you were subscribed to the list. When you enter that, you can go to the archives. If you don't have a password, here's how to get one: 4) Repeat step 1. 5) Enter your email address in the box nearest the bottom of the screen, next to the button that says "unsubscribe or edit options." Click on that button. 6) On the next screen, click on the "Remind" button, and it will email you your password for this list. Read your mail to find out your password, then go back to Step 1. Note that this same procedure works to get archives of the "active" list. The "announce" list archives are open to everybody without entering an email address or password, so are slightly simpler to get to. JMC -- John-Marc Chandonia (jmc@sfgreens.org) http://sfgreens.org/
