[Delegates] airfare?

Hi everyone, I'm looking at travel options and had a question about the schedule for anyone who has attended a National Convention in the past. http://www.gp.org/convention/schedule.html What is the difference between the meetings, workshops and caucuses on Wed, Thu, Fri, Sun and Mon AND the Nominating Convention on Saturday? Is there any reason why I would want to attend Committee Meetings on Wed and Sun? When is everyone else planning on arriving and departing? Is anyone staying someplace other than the Hyatt Regency?
