Christina has to be at the Coordinating Committee meeting on Friday night, so I think we (Marc, Charlene, Christina and I) gotta go earlier. Sorry to miss Ross' party. It is a 5.5 hour drive, so you could conceivably leave at 9 or 10 pm and get in by 2 or 3 am. We need to be at the registration by 9:00 am on Sat. to claim our delegate credentials. sk

Also, thinking about that Friday is Helen Caldicott's movie debut party that many folks are invited to and we can miss Ross' art show. I might opt to hang around since I have tix for Helen's show and leave soon after that or very early in Saturday morning.

Dear all, I am grateful that you-all voted for me to be an alternate to the plenary, (even tho it must have gone against the grain) - thanks Susan for suggesting it. Unfortunately I am committed to be in Sonoma for the next four weekends on business, so will not be able to go. I wasn't thinking straight Wednesday on the dates, or perhaps was overwhelmed. Perhaps it would be a good idea to select 2 alternates at the GM . Regretfully, Caty

Last night, the CC added 2 delegates (1 alternate): Nicole (runner-up in the election, who will replace me in the delegation since I can't go) and Caty (as an alternate for Ross). I've added both to this list. Anybody can email this list, delegates@sfgreens.org.
The CC also put 1/2 hour on the agenda at the end of next week's GM to discuss the proposals to be decided on at the plenary. The SFGP traditionally doesn't bind delegates to a particular voting position, but this meeting should be informative so that delegates can more effectively represent our active membership. I hope you can all attend the GM next Wednesday.
I want to remind you of the plenary packet, which you can download from here: http://www.cagreens.org/plenary/ You need to enter "gpca" and "10greatyears" to get it. Since the PDF is about 100 pages long, Bruce Wolfe has volunteered to copy the text of the key proposals onto the staff list for further discussion (so hopefully people will read them prior to next week's meeting).
You can also register online at the link above, which I think will be cheaper than registering at the door. I will submit our list of delegates so the GPCA knows who we are sending.
I also want to call attention to my plenary endorsements, in the link in my signature.
