For now, at least, i believe we have more in common with an advocacy group, or at least I hope so, If we are a political party, we will do only what is good for the party, and not what is good for the wider third party/open government movement of which we have been a part for many years. There is time to mature as a party. For now, there is so much wrong with the system that I consider it dangerous to refer to ourselves as a party right now. Seems too much like wanna be good ol boy networkers. And I like David Cobb, but he has no charisma, or a bemusedly interested media looking for an angle that we might be able to exploit. I still believe we should be paying more attention to impeaching Bush than running against him, and I hope that, even if the worst happens and "we are responsible once again for putting this maniac in the White House" (sic), his articles of impeachment will be ready before his reinauguration.
