Delegation Replacement for the mars 27/28 meeting.
Hi folks.. I sent this message to the CC. Hi Susan - This is Pierre Fraysse - you know, the guy which Carlos wanted to be the non-citizen representative delegate at the March CA Green State meeting : problem is that I am a US citizen.. by naturalization if not by identification... OK, I have a problem that I hope will be easy to solve... I just got hired on a new full-time job, I started last week, the learning curve is going to be steep and since I have been almost un-employed for 2 years you can imagine what kind of re-adaptation to regular working life it will take me... So the point is I don't think I can get my mind into the issues and matters that the Party will be discussed at the meeting, and I do not want to use a delegate seat if I can not contribute. PLEASE LET ONE OF THE ALTERNATE TAKE MY DELEGATION. If it required a vote from the general meeting, ask for the vote next thursday! Thank you Susan , June and all others members of the CC. PS: I will try to attend the 27/28 meeting , at least some of it. Have a great GREEN Day ! Pierre
Hi, All: I would recommend delegates and alternates study the two proposals to mandate the CA delegation to the National Convention. This will be one of the importatn points to be discussed at the upcoming CA State Assembly on Mar 27-28. The SFGP will discuss the issue and what the position of the SFGP delegation will be on the matter this coming Wednesday, at the regular GM meeting, 7:30 PM at the SFGP headquarters. By the way... Thanks to John-Marc to put this list together. Since he is representing SFGP at the State Coordinating Committee, he can possible post in this list both Stauffer's and Bloomberg's proposals so the delegates can read them and study them. Thanks! They're both in the plenary packet. I hope everybody on this list downloads a copy (http://cagreens.org/plenary/packet.html) and reads it as soon as possible. In particular, if there are concerns about any of the language in the platform planks, the presenters would rather have that emailed to them in advance so they can fix things ahead of time rather than in the short session that was allocated.
