Green Party Plenary delegates
Hi, I've created a mailing list, delegates@sfgreens.org for delegates and alternates to the state plenary to use to communicate with each other. This list will be recycled some time after the plenary. I'm not a delegate or alternate, but I am SF's representative to the GPCA's coordinating committee, so I'm here to answer any questions you have and provide info you need. The first things you should look at are on the plenary website: http://cagreens.org/plenary/. You should register online as soon as possible at this site. Don't worry about submitting the delegate list; I'll do that. You should download both the agenda packet and meeting file, and print out a copy for yourself or arrange to share one. You will need a password to get the packet; use "gpca" for the user name and "10greatyears" for the password. Yes, thanks. She's already on the email list, but I forgot to mention she's a delegate (she was nominated as a delegate, not an alternate, correct?). This presents a minor problem since we are only allowed 9. However, if Pierre is really going to withdraw, that problem is solved. Can anybody see other mistakes in the list? We thought SF got 12 delegates when we selected our delegates at the last General Meeting. Here's the complete list of 12! delegates from the meeting notes from the last General Membership meeting: (sorry if I spelled any names wrong -- please let me know) Delegates: 1. Terry Baum 2. Barbara Boice 3. Chris Finn 4. Berta Hernandez 5. Susan King 6. Kim Knox 7. Caty Powell 8. Paul Quick 9. Dan Strickland 10. Lia Wilbourne 11. Sloan Wilson 12. Pierre Fraysse (but he has now requested an alternate take his place) Alternates: 1. June Brashares 2. Don Eichelberger 3. Caleb Kleppner 4. Ross Mirkarimi 5. Carlos Petroni 6. Thanks. I've added Terry to this list; Kim was already on it. We get 12 delegates to the US convention (who we haven't picked yet), but only 9 to the plenary. We therefore need to move several people from delegate to alternate, which will need GM approval at this week's meeting.
