Hello, all... I wanted to give you all an update on the finanaces as I will be unable to attend the August CC meeting due to a performance I cannot miss (I'm running the sound). The news: All the bills are current and up-to-date. I have been able to get the online banking access for both checking accounts, and am able to transfer funds between the two. I wanted to start paying the bills online (to avoid the paper bills), and to streamline the whole process - but Wamu's Online Bill Pay has been down for the last couple of weeks; they have a temporary off-site version available, but it doesn't seem to allow you to add new payees - which I will have to do. I mailed off a copy of the request to change the automatic credit card deposits, but got a message from Sue that the form was returned to me in the mail today. This is all a little unsettling. I mailed it off several weeks ago, and it was just returned today. Also I called to check the address twice, and it was still returned. My instincts are telling me that there's something a little shady about this company, but I don't know what it is. Also, we're kind of screwed if we try to end our account with them because we don't have good enough records to move to another service. Hopefully I'll be able to fax the form to them on Monday and it will go through by the end of next week - though, I'm still not sure if they will be a hard time about not being the original person to open the account (the account is still under Nancy's name). Sue also told me that there's a check in the office for me to pick up and deposit. In general, I'm making a habit of checking the box at the office on Saturdays unless I need to drop off a check or have a previous commitment that keeps me from getting over there on a Saturday. Either way, I don't let the box go more than a week. Micheas - I'm not sure what to do with the invoice that you left in the box. Is this for a $25 check to be made out to you? If you happen to check your email tonight, let me know and I'll drop off a check tomorrow for you when I come in to pick up the other check that's there now. I can't remember if you have your own box - if not, I'll leave it in the treasurer's box in an envelope with your name on it. I'm attaching my working file for the account. It's just a simple, easy-to-follow Excel file. I'm not sure what you all need to/want to see with this, but this should probably tell you what you all of that. Just a couple of notes on it - it doesn't include the check to Micheas(?) or the $40 deposit that's in the office now. The file begins at the end of this year - but some of the info is spotty - at best. Turns out you can only view records going back three months from the current date. I downloaded what I could, and pieced together the rest by going through our records. I have no idea what some of those checks are for as Dave must still have one of the checkbooks, so I don't have the carbons. I also wanted to point out that the long distance bill (Working Assets) more than doubled this month! I don't really know what that's all about, but there are hundreds of short calls to (among other places), Beverly Hills, Ventura, and Ohio. Was someone phonebanking in the office? None of the calls themselves were more than a dollar, but wow - they do add up. I also updated the request for donations and sustainers that goes into the weekly. I'd also like to dress up the donations page of the website, but I'm back to working full time and am running a sound for this show for the next month. That's all I can think of at the moment.
