Hello All, We were running short on time last night with a packed schedule at the meeting, so I didn’t want to take up time with this suggestion. Here it is now. I have some booklets entitled “What’s Really Happening in Syria: A Consumer Fraud Lawyer’s Mini-Primer” by Robert Roth. I came across this booklet from a meeting I had with Rick Sterling, an activist in the group Syria Solidarity Movement (see website: http://www.syriasolidaritymovement.org/ <http://www.syriasolidaritymovement.org/>). Can I get the SFGP’s approval to bring a box of these booklets to hand out at our tabling events this Summer? The Syrian conflict is important for any proponents of peace to pay close attention to. The booklet explains how: U.S. government and media are using propaganda on us alleging Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad is killing his own people; U.S. is backing terrorists to overthrow Assad; U.S. military action in Syria is in breach of U.S. and international law (U.N. Charter) After our illegal missile strikes on Syria in April, Russia stated that it will attack us if we carry out any further strikes. Many experts believe that we’re closer than ever to a nuclear war with Russia. This conflict could easily lead to global catastrophe. I’m attaching a pdf copy of the booklet below. Best regards, Lance
