-------- Original Message -------- Subject: Urban Agriculture zoning changes. Date: Tue, 5 Apr 2011 00:22:23 -0700 From: Casey Allen <casey@sflandscapes.com> Dear Urban Ag Enthusiasts, The zoning proposal will go before the full Board of Supervisors for its first reading tomorrow (Tuesday). Following the rules of the Board, public comment on the zoning proposal will not be allowed because the issue was already heard in committee. Because of this, and because our strong turnouts at the Planning Commission and the Land Use committee hearings led to very strong support for the ordinance on the Board, we are not mobilizing for a large turnout tomorrow. However, if you will be near City Hall or enjoy a good hearing, details about tomorrow's are: *Where: *City Hall, Legislative Chamber (Room 250) *When: *Tuesday, April 5 Hearing begins at 2:00 PM and we're item #10 *Agenda: *http://sfbos.org/index.aspx?page=11697 The second (and final) reading of the ordinance will likely be on April 12th. We will send out more details on that when we know them. Sincerely, --Eli _____________________________________ Eli Zigas Co-Coordinator, San Francisco Urban Agriculture Alliance ezigas@... <http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SFUAA/message/ezigas@cultivate-sf.org> www.sfuaa.org
