Hi Christine, John-Marc, Sue, I would like to put 2 items on the agenda for our April meeting (I realize that the March meeting is already way too packed). 1. The Heinberg perspective: which would be our thoughts and some discussion of Richard Heinberg's books and articles and the Monthly Review articles I gave people some time ago. And 2. The Anti-War impasse: in which we would make an attempt to understand better the impasse in the Anti-War movement. I recognize that formally this 2nd point is outside the work we are focused on - nevertheless materially it does totally affect our work - so in this respect I think it is appropriate to talk about it. I think the discussion in the General Meeting was great - but it was only a start. Because there is so much to talk about here and because time is so limited for most of us, it might also be helpful to have some one-on-one discussions prior to this as these become possible. I think this would make the group discussion more possible and manageable - as these topics are so big. Jerry Path Jerry Path pjrry@igc.org Why Wait? Move to EarthLink.
