Sorry, one more thing. We should also support pedestrian scrambles in which all lights are red, but the walk signals are on and peds get to walk diagonally across intersections. In this section we might also want to say something about the creation of livable communities in which schools, grocery stores, bookstores and libraries, etc., are plentiful enough to be within walking distance of most residents (unlike most of the Sunset now).
