hey andy, wondering if you could work your District 1 magic on something. here's the deal: as you know 3 bike lane projects are scheduled for hearing on 4/18 at board committee: market (8-VN), Fulton, and Oakdale.
there's a chance we could ALSO get the BPU policy document on that same agenda, which would be great, b/c we'd have people there already to speak about it, and b/c there'd be more substantive discussion/focus on bike stuff.
apparently, b/c the policy doc. is getting challenged at planning dept., Mcgoldrick's office is hesitant to schedule it for the committee meeting. But everyone (dpt, planning) thinks the challenge is not substantive and will not cause a problem, so we shouldn't let this slow us down. apparently the challenge is going to be heard by the board in the next week or two, well before t he 4/18 hearnig.
so, andy, could you contact mcgoldrick's office -- it think it's cassandra -- about sfbc (and bac?) strong interest in getting this thing scheduled pronto. ideally now for 4/18 hearing?
