Sounds like a plan to me. I'd be able to show up early to help that day. Would this be the event for Ross as well? Ed
Hello Everyone,
I met with Sami Sunchild, owner of the Red Vivtorian B&B on Haight Street this morning. The B&B has a large community space that is fully equiped for DVD screenings -- projector, large wall, etc. There is also a small stage. If we hold our usual event at this place, we could do a collection and split the proceeds with the B&B -- but the B&B would have to get a minimum of $60.
It would be great if we could do this on World Car-Free Day, September 22 (a Thursday), but we would to end the event at 9 p.m. at the latest. We could use the space from about 6 p.m. on.
Sami wants to know soon because she is working on her fall schedule.
I have not yet talked to the owners of the Bazaar about doing an event on September 19 because I don't know if we can manage two events in one week (three if we count the one at New College with Global Exchange).
