Re: [Transpo] [SFGP-A] Request for Green Party support of street cleaning

I'm opposed to supporting street cleaning that's done primarily for the purpose of making cars move. Storing cars for long periods of time on the street is already illegal, and this problem should be addressed by other means (both by demanding more enforcement, and by increasing the price of street parking permits). Street cleaning is expensive, and there are plenty of streets that need cleaning more than hilly areas, since the weather tends to bring all the trash down to flat streets or blow it towards the east side of the city.
