Leah's last name is "Shahum." She is the executive director of the SFBC. I have not yet contacted either Ross or Leah about April 27 as I was waiting for confirmation about the date and the theater -- and then I had an extremely busy week. I will definitely be intouch with both by tomorrow at the latest. Attached are the following letters: 1) Revision of the AB799 letter to Leno; 2) Revision of the cantilever letter and CCs to Steve Heminger and Jon Rubin; and, 3) Bike Plan Update template. Dave Snyder is away until late Tuesday so he won't see the Bike Plan Update letter until then. Also, in my next e-mail I'll send the Mid-Market letter and the SB810 revision. As discussed with Rachel yesterday, here is information on the panel for the film and discussion on "The End of Suburbia- Oil Depletion and the End of the American Dream", set for Wednesday, April 27th, 7 P.M. at the Off-Market Theater at 965 Mission St. at 5th. We sincerely hope that Peter will be able to come and make this event a more meaningful experience for everyone.

6:30- Doors Open 7-7:05- Introductory remarks (Sue/Ross) 7:05-8:35- Movie 8:35-8:40- Financial appeal 8:40-8:50- Break- Audience questions will be collected 8:50-10- Panel- 4 minutes response from each panelist, followed by Q&A.

Besides yourself, Ross Mirkarimi and one other transportation expert, Leah (sorry I do not have her last name or group affiliation, but we can get those to you post haste) have been invited. I hope that having smaller panel this time will allow for more give and take, and move us toward some real, doable ideas.
