Hi, Please read over the TALC platform (forwarded separately) and decide if it's compatible with ours. We can take up the issue at our November meeting. JMC -- John-Marc Chandonia (jmc@sfgreens.org) http://sfgreens.org/
I hate their sections on BRT (assumes light-rail is too expensive; doesn't define "rail-ready" or examine the real-world possibility of these new bus-lines ever being converted to surface rail) and the Transbay Terminal (doesn't consider the no-build option of leaving the beautiful old Deco building alone, renovating it, and RE- installing tracks along the elevated ramp that used to be a rail- line). Aside from that it looks good. Both these platforms feed into the current "party-line" about these two key areas, which I think are too knee-jerk and don't consider carefully enough the possibility of better options. --K. I've read it over and I vote yes.
